Hi, I’m Matthew and some of you may know me as the creator behind The Southerner's Northern Garden on YouTube. I grew up in Alabama at the foothills of the Appalachia where the woods were thick, the night sky sparkled, and the tea was sweet.

I moved north to Southwest Ohio in 2016 to follow my dreams and started a garden along the way. I love all things that bloom. I guess you could say I'm wooed by the bloom if you want to be poetic.
